What is a Nevada Certified Investor?

A Nevada Certified Investor is a special designation that allows qualified individuals to participate in exclusive investment opportunities within the state.

Nevada Residency
Must be a legal resident of Nevada.
Income Requirement
For individuals: W-2 income exceeding the greater of the state's median wage or $100,000 annually; for married couples: exceeding $150,000 annually.
Business Ownership
Must hold over 50% ownership in a business that has reported either gross revenues of at least $200,000 or 2.5 times the state's median household income on federal tax returns for the past two years, whichever is greater.
Investment Limitation
Eligible to invest up to 10% of net worth in securities purchased under the exemption, with no more than 50% of the primary residence equity included in net worth calculations.
